SCI provides consulting through training, support services geared to architects, facility planners and managers involved with business computer networks, electronic board rooms, industrial computer systems, A / V studios, video / infrared security, multimedia systems and VSAT A / V / D networks.  Services range from development of facility and systems concept documents through systems design and integration, equipment acquisition, off- and on‑site fabrication, installation and testing, operator training and systems maintenance.

SCI‑AFM services provide specialized , sophisticated SCAVITS�� solutions and guidance to facility designers and management professionals.  SCI has in‑depth expertise in Audio Video Data systems ‑ their use, integration and acquisition.  Every aspect of use, cost, performance, maintainability and compatibility is constantly being reviewed by our staff.  Our large OEM Agreement base provides our customers with the best equipment at affordable prices.  Our fabrication shop understands how to assemble this equipment and test it prior to site delivery and our install and specialty construction teams understand how to integrate architecture and furniture with state-of-the-art electronics.

SCI VSAT SUPPORT SERVICES

Site surveys are normally done from our Dallas location via scheduled trips by our engineers who visit consecutively proposed sites.  Field engineering information gathered by our engineer is input directly to the Dallas SCI computer system via modem.  Clients have direct access to this data via modem and an appropriate code/password system is assigned to them.

Installations of hardware are normally done from the closest SCI Associate Facility.  If heavy work loads exist in a particular area, adjacent Associate Facility staffs are grouped to meet this demand if time is critical for activities such as hurricane asset protection rapid system dismantles.

Shipping costs are reduced via limited time warehousing of client supplied hardware at regional SCI Associate Facilities.  This service is free to SCI customers and is intended to reduce costs and provide better service to our client's customers.  Receiving and security hassles are eliminated as well as extra charges for " return to site " job cost due to missing equipment.  We welcome your efficient use of our warehousing but must request you maintain appropriate insurance on all material stocked on these premises and keep lead shipment dates to less than 21 days.

Job tracking is provided by our in‑house computer system.  Engineering, Legal, Customer, Shipping, Delivery, Installation and Test information and status on all work orders covered by blanket or bulk client purchase orders are modem accessible to SCI contract clients.  For lesser contracts, system access is given when units in process exceed 10 per month.  A client may get  reports by phone or hard copy status by email at anytime.  Communication data encryption can be provided at an optional cost.  Use of most industry compatible PC's or lap top's will work on our system.  Electronic order entry and catalog services are handled through the SCI web site.

SCI‑GEMS�� ( Global Electronic Marketing System ) components are available to all quantity contract customers at dealer price and no license fee.  Hardware will automatically be shipped to meet " just in time " requirements if SCI is installing same, no warehousing charge is made to the client for inventory stored at SCI facilities.

SCI export offices are located in Laredo, Texas; Port of Houston, Texas; Saginaw, Michigan; Philadelphia, PA; and San Francisco, CA.  Import points are Calgary, Regina, Winnipeg, Ottawa and Quebec, Canada; London, UK; Nuevo Laredo, Mexico; Hong Kong; and Taipei, ROC.  London is used for Moscow.  SCI Associate Agents and Dealers are available in most major cities in the U.S., Mexico, Canada, South America, Asia and Europe.

SCI's Standard Area of Service Operations covers the US, Mexico, South America, Canada and Europe.  Contract clients are provided world coverage including use of existing SCI agreements in Russia and China.  Client personnel visa clearance, transportation, accommodations, temporary office, communications, scheduled parcel service, local staff support and other logistical or tactical services can be provided in most countries via our New York, London, or Moscow Associate Offices.  Videoconference, VSAT, and Trade Show support are normal activities for SCI within the world market place.  Production support at this time is limited to North, Central and South America and Europe.  Media conversion, translation and distribution is near worldwide status.  Certain SCI staff are NSC cleared and available for DOD or State Department contract use worldwide.
